Rachel Riley x Smalls

Rachel Riley grew up in London & has enjoyed a lifelong passion for the classic designs and glamorous style of the 50's &60's.

A designer & pattern-cutter, Rachel created her brand in 1998 when her three children were young, designing & making clothes for family and friends.  The

company flourished & grew from a small mail-order business to a globally recognised brand, enjoying a reputation for classic, beautifully designed, well-made clothes, all with her personal quest for style, quality & value.

THE COLLABORATION
The limited edition collection combines key shapes and styles in Smalls’ core range along with Rachel Riley’s signature colour palette and playful prints - and the result is a perfect blend of British design and luxury traceable Merino wool.

The collection is centred around a vintage lamb - a nod to Smalls’ New Zealand roots - and is made using the Smalls Italian spun, New Zealand grown fabric.

Ultrafine Merino wool is a fibre that is ideal on sensitive skin due to its ultra-fine super soft fibres. It is breathable and hypoallergenic and temperature regulating and as a result can improve eczema, acting a second skin.

Each of the pieces in our collaboration can be used as both thermal layers (ideal for skiing!) and sleep-wear, so that your child remains comfy and cosy all winter-long.

The cost of a top is equivalent to 13 pence per wear over the course of the year.

Merino wool is one of the best ways to keep kids warm during the colder months. As always our Merino can be traced all the way back to the farm, where the sheep roam free in the Southern Alps of New Zealand.
